Key Goals
1. To increase the awareness and visibility of the Chapter throughout VACO as an employee support group, professional development organization, community resource, and networking mechanism.
2. To increase the Chapter membership roles to include representation from all levels of the organization.
3. To improve the lines of communication to inform, educate, and assist Chapter members and VACO key leaders of major changes affecting jobs, career opportunities and the general work environment.
4. To establish working relations with key leaders, managers and supervisors, to participate on committee's and work groups engaged in decision-making activities that are impacting career and quality of life issues affecting African-American employees.
