The Sacramento Metropolitan Area Chapter is involved with many different programs. Most programs that we participate in are related to youths. As our Chapter continues to grow, we will continue to look toward participating in more programs that benefit Sacramento area communities. Some of the programs we participate in are:

  • Adopt-a-Child for Christmas: Organizer of citywide Christmas gifts for collection and distribution to low-income and abused children in Sacramento County.

  • Black History Gospel Extravaganza

  • The Birthing Project: Helping pregnant young mothers develop responsible parenting skills.

  • Employment Outreach Coordinator: Receive and distribute employment information to the community.

  • Liner Kenpo Karate Young Male Program

  • Mentoring/Tutoring Programs: Working with Children and young adults through schools and community centers.

  • The Sacramento Observer: Working to help increase the circulation of the newspaper.

  • Scholarship Program: Assisting college students in filling out proper paperwork and financial support.

  • Summer Job Aide Program: Job and Career counseling, completing employment applications and interviewing technique workshops.

  • Thanksgiving Day Baskets Drive: Provide food baskets to needy fellow employees and families within the community.

  • Training Program (Annual)

  • Youth Program (Annual)
