It is with great pleasure that I inform you that Mr. Miles Morrison has been appointed as the Blacks in Government, Region IX Historian. He is the person that you may have seen taking pictures during the past 3 years at various functions for Blacks in Government; at the Chapter, Region and National levels. Mr. Miles Morrison has already began his position by taking pictures of this weekend's functions, to include pictures of Chapter Presidents' and board members to be placed on the Region IX web site. This position is being filled to assist the Region in establishing records and pictures to ensure the history of BIG, Region IX is maintained. He will be contacting each chapter to obtain information and pictures that will be preserved for many years to come. Please join me in wishing Mr. Miles Morrison well in his new position! Rhonda M. Early Members and Friends:   Teresia Harvey, Public Relations Director It is with great pleasure that I inform you that Ms. Teresia Harvey has been appointed as the Public Relations Director for Blacks In Government, Region IX! During our Blacks in Government Region IX meeting on 24 April 2010, San Diego California, Ms. Rhonda Early, Region IX President, and it was approved by the body, appointed Ms. Teresia Harvey to this position. This position was established and filled to assist Region IX in achieving BIG's goal of connecting with other federal agencies, state, local entities and most importantly within the community. In addition, she will be assisting all chapters in promoting events.  On Friday night during our Regional meeting, 23 April 2010 Ms. Teresia Harvey presented a compelling presentation that assured us she was the one for the job!
