Do you have a digital camera? Maybe a regular camera and a scanner? Would you like some of your pictures to be on the web? Well here is how you can do it!
We want pictures that illustrate BIG members performing missions for communicating the goals and objectives of our organization, Blacks In Government. You should strive to inspire and educate others about BIG through your submitted pictures. Remember you must have permission of the person you are taking a picture of.
Make sure your picture format is compatible with the web. The Internet requires pictures to be in either JPEG (.jpg) or GIF (.gif) formatted pictures.
You also need to make sure that they are small enough for fast viewing on the web. The ideal size is 320x240 or 240x320 depending on the orientation of the shot. The resolution should be set to72 pixels/inch. If you are saying resolution... what and pixel... who? Then you just need to make sure that the picture is smaller than 1 megabyte (1mb) in size. I will make it fit.
Please send any pictures 1 picture at a time through e-mail to prevent my account locking up. Also please include some information about the picture. Who, What, When, Where and some contact information on the person submitting the pictures. I will also need your permission to crop and modify the pictures for best viewing on the web.
