President's Corner

Greetings From Our Chapter President
Welcome to the New Kemet Harambe Chapter
of
Blacks In Government
The New Kemet Harambe Chapter received its charter in April 2001, and since that time, we have worked to achieve the objectives of Blacks In Government. We pride ourselves on being concerned with the professional and cultural development of African American government employees at all levels as well as making a firm commitment to support socio-economic programs and other activities which enhance the life, liberty and pursuit of happiness for African Americans.
We are a dedicated Chapter of dynamic and qualified individuals with a broad spectrum of experience, a blend of ages, and a diversity of viewpoints with a commitment to excellence. Our Chapter makes a commitment to encourage all people to aspire as far as their dreams, visions, and goals will take them, and to honor and recognize the significant contributions African Americans have made to our city, state, and country. We meet regularly every 1st Wednesday of the Month between 11:30 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. For those who are unable to attend physically, we encourage you to listen in on our conference line.
I invite you to become a member of the New Kemet Harambe Chapter of Blacks In Government. Take this opportunity to become involved with an organization that promotes Equity in all aspects of American Life, Excellence in public service, and Opportunity for all Americans. I have attached our Chapter’s “2005 End of the Year Report” and an application.
