Message from the A.Philip Randolph Pullman Porter:
We have been made aware of the recent honor Of the 2006 National Distinguished Service Award bestowed upon Blacks In Government, New Kemet Harambe Chapter Chicago. I wish to extend a heartfelt congratulations.
Ms. Sheppard as a member of the A. Philip Randolph Pullman Porter Museum we want you to know that we are very proud of your participation in that organization. As a way to demonstrate that, we are extending to you and 20 guest of your choosing to attend our 10Th Annual Honoring The Brotherhood Celebration, that includes the Gentle Warrior Award Celebration. invitation . The event will take place at the museum Sept 3rd please see attached the details. Since the event is not open to the general public, and tickets were sold at $125.00 per person we ask that you RSVP by sending your guest list as soon as possible.
The 2006 Honorees include Stella Foster Columnist for the Chicago Sun Times, Dr. Jawanza Kunjufu, Noted Auther and Educational Consultant, and more. Keynote Speaker Ms. Dorothy Brown, Mater of Ceremony, Mr. Cliff Kelley of WVON Radio, Live Jazz. We know that you and your guest will enjoy the event. Again congratulations.
