Janice Elaine Melton was born in Boston, Massachusetts where she attended public schools and earned a BA in com-munications.

Serving for a time in FEMA headquarters, she worked directly the White House and Congressional Affairs public information offices; she received national recognition.

A Life Member who served as Communication Officer for the Region and Chapter.
