Valerie Johnson was a retired Social Insurance Specialist of the Social Security Administration. She was a Life Member of Blacks in Government. Valerie served as a delegate and alternate to many Delegates’ Assemblies.

She served as Secretary and Treasurer of the Greater Baltimore Chapter, Region III. Valerie was an avid researcher of her family history and was a member of the Association for the Study of African-American Life and History. She was also a great dancer.
