Ms Johnson-Wilburn left two daughters; two sons; about 10 grandchildren and two great grandchildren. .

Ms Johnson-Wilburn retired from the Colorado Civil Rights Commission; was a life-time member of the NAACP; Blacks In Government; Colorado Springs School District-Two Board, the Colorado Equal Employment Coalition Board and many other organizations. Ms Johnson-Wilburn also was a Equal Employment Opportunity consultant for several Colorado Springs School Districts and many other agencies and businesses.
